Minister Simmers to launch new housing project in Bitterfontein and hand over title deeds in Vredendal

On Tuesday, 2 December 2025, Western Cape Minister of Infrastructure Tertuis Simmers will officially launch the Bitterfontein housing project and hand over title deeds in Vredendal.

The ribbon-cutting ceremony marks the start of the Bitterfontein housing project which will yield nearly one hundred housing opportunities in the area.

Minister Simmers will also visit Vredendal to handover title deeds to beneficiaries of the Vredendal North Phase 6 housing project. This project yielded 264 housing opportunities.
