Good progress is being made at the McGregor Bridge

McGregor Bridge reinstatement update

The final inspection will enable us to confirm the official reopening date for the McGregor Bridge.

• Our teams are working to complete every safety requirement as quickly as possible.
• We previously indicated that the bridge could reopen by end of August and we are now cautiously optimistic that we will reopen by end of July 2026. This will, however, only be confirmed once the inspections are completed.
• Safety remains our first priority, and we will only reopen the bridge once we are satisfied that it is safe for all road users.
• We will communicate the confirmed reopening date as soon as the final inspection has been completed.
