EPWP Work-Based Programme

The Western Cape Government (WCG) Department of Infrastructure is inviting suitably qualified applicants residing in the following regions to apply for a funded Work- based Programme.

Programme Purpose:

• Equip unemployed youth with skills needed in the built environment.
• Provide paid workplace training aligning with EPWP National Youth Service (NYS) principles.
• Strengthen youth
• participation in infrastructure delivery.

Successful applicants will be required to work on a Municipality/Satellite site as part of the work-based programme. Successful applicants will be required to sign a contract with the Department.
