Transport Impact Assessments: Draft Regulations on minimum requirements in terms of the National Land Transport Transition Act, 2000 (Act No. 22 of 2000)

These Provincial Regulations are intended to improve the content and quality of transport impact assessments for land use developments and to specify the qualifications of practitioners who draw them up.

The regulations will improve the administration of the process of identifying the scope, drawing up and submitting transport impact assessments, and link the transport requirements of developments with the integrated transport plans for the planning authority area required in terms of the Act.
