Safety tips for your home

Make sure that your gates, garage doors and windows are closed and locked when you're home and when leaving the house.

Remember, any open window, no matter how small, creates an opportunity for potential house breakers.
Don't leave handbags, car keys and valuables in plain sight or near an open window.
When leaving your house for an extended time, have a neighbour or family member watch your house.
If possible, set your indoor and outdoor lights on an automatic timer.
