Policing Needs and Priorities in the Western Cape

(Western Cape Government)
PNP Vredendal Cluster adevrt

The Western Cape Department of Community Safety (DoCS) is hosting a range of public meetings across the Province.  The purpose of these meetings is to identify Policing Needs and Priorities (PNPs), within specific areas, to ensure that Police remain responsive to communities.

Communities will have the opportunity to:

  • Meet the Minister of Community Safety, Mr Dan Plato.
  • Meet their Community Police Forum (CPF) and Cluster CPF Chairpersons.
  • Identify, discuss and confirm the policing needs and priorities of their respective areas.

Stakeholders are expected to discuss the PNPs within their areas, and identify the PNPs.

Note: All organisations and stakeholders are expected to nominate two (2) people to represent them in the PNPs meetings.
