On 1 June 2012 Minister Albert Fritz supported the Two Oceans Youth Academy as they took on the visiting under 20 Kenyan team in a football match at Turfhall Sports Complex in Penlyn Estate.
The Department of Social Development supports initiatives like the Two Oceans Academy as they strive to encourage youth from disadvantaged, drug and crime ridden communities to live healthy and drug free lives using football as a vehicle to reach this goal.
