National Budget Speech 2019

The Finance Minister Tito Mboweni delivered the national budget speech on 20 February 2019. 

During his speech, Minister Mboweni reaffirmed his commitment to serving the people of South Africa and being a "guardian of the nation's finances".

He noted that President Cyril Ramaphosa has set out an ambitious agenda for the nation. "It is an agenda that speaks to the South Africa that we can be. It is a task list for all or us. It lays out a series of interventions that will put South Africa on a bold new path, " Minister Mboweni said in his opening remarks.
