Are you ready for a career break?

Having a baby means taking maternity leave and if you’re planning to care for your little one without any additional help from your parents, in-laws or a domestic helper, take a look at how far your savings will last you.

Many couples also decide to then work part-time and share childcare responsibilities. This may affect your career plans especially if you’re on leave longer than the agreed months or you resign from your job. Consider how having a baby will impact your career plans.
