Media Alert: WC Archives and Records Service to receive silver medal award

Tomorrow, 8 November 2018, Minister Anroux Marais will receive the VOC Foundation’s Silver Medal awarded to the Western Cape Archives and Records Service.

Every four years, the Silver Medal is awarded to individuals or institutions performing special work in respect of the education and conservation of the VOC history.

The Western Cape Archives and Records Service will receive this accolade of excellence in fulfilling its role of preserving, conserving and providing access to VOC records.
