Minister Meyer Launches Library Week in Paarl

The Provincial Minister of Cultural Affairs and Sport, Dr Ivan Meyer, will be speaking at the official launch of Library Week, which is celebrated annually during the third week of March, in Paarl.

The event forms part of the national drive to promote the information services and resources provided by local libraries, as well as reading and the benefits of literacy. The theme for Library Week 2012 focuses on the youth with the theme "Stay Connected @ Your Library".
