Media Alert: Minister Marais to bid farewell to first Indian Navy Women's crew

Tomorrow, 14 March 2018, Minister Anroux Marais will bid farewell to the Indian Navy’s 6 female officers as they depart for the final leg of their maiden circumnavigation.

This circumnavigation is set to make history as the Indian Navy will become the very first military in the world to have an all women crew completing this remarkable voyage.

Cape Town is the Indian Sailing Vessel (INSV) Tarini’s last port of call before sailing back to India.
