Western Cape Government and Lwandle Migrant Labour Museum to Host Museum Day

Western Cape Minister of Cultural Affairs and Sport, Dr Ivan Meyer, will be the keynote speaker at the Western Cape's 2012 International Museum Day celebrations on 18 May, which coincides with similar celebrations across the globe. The event will take place between 11:00 and 13:30 and will be jointly hosted by Lwandle Migrant Labour Museum and the Department of Cultural Affairs and Sport. The theme for this year is "Museums in a Changing World".

Lwandle Migrant Labour Museum was recently declared a provincially aided museum by the Western Cape Government and is located at Old Community Hall, Vulindela Street, Lwandle, Somerset West.
