Media Alert: Eden District Receives R1 450 000 For Sporting Activities

Following the Department of Cultural Affairs and Sport’s budget appropriations for the 2017/18 financial year, Minister Anroux Marais will hand over ceremonial cheques to each district across the province.  

Tomorrow, 4 April 2017, Minister Anroux Marais will officially present a cheque of R1 450 000 to the community of the Eden District in Oudtshoorn.

This allocation will undoubtedly promote sporting activities in the district through the provision of equitable, accessible and affordable sport facilities, programmes and services.
