Media Alert: Iris House Fun Run To Be Officially Started By Minister Marais

MEDIA ALERT: IRIS HOUSE WALK RUN AND ROLL FUN RUN TO BE OFFICIALLY STARTED BY MINISTER MARAIS

On Sunday, 30 October 2016, Western Cape Minister of Cultural Affairs and Sport, Anroux Marais will officially start the Iris House Walk, Run and Roll 5km fun run. The Walk Run and Roll 5km fun run serves to celebrate the diversity and uniqueness of the growing number of special needs children and young adults Iris House cares for and to raise much needed funds.

Minister Marais will be accompanied by some of the 2016 Paralympic athletes who represented South Africa in Rio this year. They include:  Reinhardt Hamman (gold medallist), Ilse Hayes (X2 silver medallist), Goldy Fuchs, Anrune Libenberg (silver medallist) and Roxy Burns.
