Media Alert: West Coast District Receives R540 000 for Sporting Activities

Following the Department of Cultural Affairs and Sport’s budget for the 2016/17 financial year, Minister Anroux Marais will hand over ceremonial cheques to each district across the province.  

Tomorrow, 21 April 2016, Minister Anroux Marais will officially present a cheque of R540 000 to the West Coast District’s sport federations in Piketberg.

This allocation will undoubtedly promote sporting activities in the district through the provision of equitable, accessible and affordable sport facilities, programmes and services.
