Media Alert: Central Karoo District Receives R110 000 for Sporting Activities

Following the Department of Cultural Affairs and Sport’s budget for the 2016/17 financial year, Minister Anroux Marais will hand over ceremonial cheques to each district across the province.  

Tomorrow, 7 April 2016, Minister Anroux Marais will officially present a cheque of R110 000 to the community of the Central Karoo District in Beaufort West.

This allocation will undoubtedly promote sporting activities in the district through the provision of equitable, accessible and affordable sport facilities, programmes and services.
