Media Alert: Dulcie September Exhibition to be launched by Minister Marais

Tomorrow, 23 September 2015, Minister Anroux Marais will launch the Department of Cultural Affairs and Sport’s exciting new framework to preserve the Western Cape's unique Oral History. 

Documenting Oral History is a challenging but valuable task. The Department has developed a Framework of minimum guidelines and ethical standards for Western Cape Government staff who are documenting Oral History.  

To showcase the significance of documenting oral histories, the department will hand over interviews recorded in the making of a new exhibition on the life of Dulcie September.  We will launch this new travelling exhibition tomorrow as part of transforming our provincial heritage landscape.
