Media Alert: Western Cape Youth given Opportunity to Shine

On Tuesday 16 June, Cultural Affairs and Sport Minister, Anroux Marais will be hosting a Youth Day showcase of talent for youth in the Overberg region.

Young people and arts and cultural organisations from Grabouw, Hermanus, Kleinmond and Gansbaai will participate in the event and showcase their talents with a variety of performances.

Former Idols contestant Karin Kortje, who lives in Grabouw, will also be on stage to showcase her singing talent.

“We are privileged to have extremely talented young people in our province. We must showcase their talent and give them opportunities to grow into the stars of tomorrow.” Minister Marais said.
