Call for Cape Town to Support Local Football : 17 September, 19:30 Cape Town Stadium
Dr Laurine Platzky, the PGWC's 2010 FIFA World Cup Coordinator, would like to encourage all PGWC staff and their families and friends to enjoy the Cape Town Stadium - and support Cape Town based teams. She says: "This is another great opportunity to celebrate the legacy of the 2010 FIFA World Cup and build match attendance. So come to the stadium for a great evening out. Bring the whole family and enjoy the vibe."
Ajax Cape Town continues to celebrate Football Friday when they play Platinum Stars at the Cape Town Stadium. We urge all Capetonians to come out and support local football. Cape Town Stadium is a family friendly venue as proven during the double header last month as families turned up in large numbers to support local football.
To ensure a family friendly environment we are promoting reserved seating that will ensure that families can sit together.
A three tier ticketing system will be implemented and the pricing is as follows; R80 (West Stand- Blue), R60 (East Stand - Red) and R40 (North and South Stands - Yellow and Green).
Tickets will be available from Computicket and Shoprite/Checkers outlets from 12h00 Wednesday 15 September, 2010. Ticket sales are capped at 20 000, the lower tier of the Stadium.
