On Monday, 24 July 2017, Premier Helen Zille and Minister Debbie Schafer will be visiting Litha Primary School in Gugulethu. Litha Primary is one of 16 eLearning "Model School's" in the Province – as part of the Western Cape Government’s (WCG) eLearning Game Changer.

Premier Zille and Minister Schafer, who are leading the eLearning Game Changer, will for the first time be showcasing one of the ‘Model Schools’ to the public. A "Model School" is a school where every instruction room is digitally enabled and linked to the Wide Area Network (WAN).

A demonstration on how the technology is used for everyday classroom practice will also be presented, as well as feedback on how the schools are being monitored to determine the benefits of the new technology.

All media are invited and welcome to attend.
