Premier's Council on Skills

The second Premier's Council on Skills was hosted and chaired by the Western Cape Premier, Helen Zille, on 17 July 2012. The purpose of this council is to ensure that all of the relevant skills development role players within the province gather in one space to discuss areas of potential economic growth and to look at how to develop the skills required to meet the demand created by this growth.

Future growth areas identified and discussed at the PCS were the Green Economy, Broadband, Artisan Development and Entrepreneurial Skills. The following presentations were delivered by representatives from these sectors, and are available for download:
