Minister Simmers to take Western Cape Human Settlement budget to Cape Winelands

Tomorrow, 10 May 2021, Western Cape Minister of Human Settlements, Tertuis Simmers will commence with his Ministerial outreach to the municipalities across the Cape Winelands District.

Accompanied by his senior executive officials, Minister Simmers will kick-off the engagement with the Witzenberg municipality, where they will meet with the entire Council.

On Tuesday and Friday, similar engagements will also occur with the Langeberg, Drakenstein and Stellenbosch municipalities.

Minister Simmers said: “I’m looking forward to these engagements, as it will allow us to present the Western Cape Department of Human Settlements’ budget for the 2021/22 financial year and discuss various matters related to human settlements. We’ll also be engaging the Breede Valley municipality in due course.”
