Tomorrow, 19 June 2020, Minister of Human Settlements, Tertuis Simmers will continue his Garden Route visits, in Oudtshoorn and Mosselbay.
Accompanied by his senior executive officials, Minister Simmers will engage the full council in the Oudtshoorn Municipal chambers, followed by a visit to the Dysselsdorp construction site.
In Mosselbay, also in the municipal chamber, an engagement will occur with the executive Mayor, along with the MAYCO members. This will be followed by a visit to the Louis Fourie/Mountain View construction site.
Minister Simmers said: “As part of the visit, we will present the Western Cape Department of Human Settlement’s funding model, assess the level of compliance with the Covid-19 and all other health and safety regulations on all our Human Settlements sites, while also following up on previous commitments made.”
