Elderly Residents to Receive Title Deeds in Delft

Tomorrow, Monday 3 December 2018, Western Cape Human Settlements Minister, Bonginkosi Madikizela, will handover title deeds in Delft, in the City of Cape Town municipal area.

The handover forms part of the Department’s Enhanced Extended Discount Benefit Scheme (EEDBS) programme. The EEDBS programme supports the transfer of pre-1994 housing stock to qualifying occupants.

This handover also forms part of the Department’s strategic objective to empower vulnerable citizens through ensuring security of tenure and to inculcate a sense of ownership and responsibility in housing beneficiaries.

Minister Madikizela will be joined by Cape Town Mayor, Dan Plato and councillors.
