Minister Madikizela to hand over houses in Saldanha Bay

Tomorrow, Tuesday 9 October 2018, the Western Cape Human Settlements Minister, Bonginkosi Madikizela, along with the Executive Mayor of Saldanha Bay Municipality, Mr Marius Koen, will hand over 21 houses to residents of Hopefield in Saldanha Bay Municipality.

This handover forms part of one of the Department’s strategic goals to prioritise vulnerable residents, such as the elderly, for government housing opportunities. The Hopefield Housing Project worth R12.09 million commenced in February 2018 and comprises 62 serviced sites and top structures. It is expected to be completed in November 2018.
