Minister Bonginkosi Madikizela gives title deeds to over 150 McGregor residents

Today, Monday 10 September 2018, Western Cape Human Settlements Minister, Bonginkosi Madikizela, will handover more than 150 title deeds to residents of McGregor in the Langeberg municipal area.

The title deed handover is part of the McGregor Integrated Residential Development Programme (IRDP) Housing Project that was initiated to improve the living conditions of informal settlement and backyard dwellers located within and around McGregor. 

The handover also forms part of the Department’s strategic objective to empower vulnerable citizens through ensuring security of tenure and to inculcate a sense of ownership and responsibility in housing beneficiaries.
