Department of Human Settlements To Hand Over More Than 2000 Title Deeds In Delft

Minister of Human Settlements NomaIndiya Mfeketo will on Wednesday 9 May 2018 handover houses and title deeds at Delft Precinct 7, N2 Gateway project, Cape Town as part of her Budget Vote activities.

The handing over of houses and more than 2000 title deeds in Delft will prioritize among others, senior citizens, child headed households and people living with disabilities.

The Title Deeds Restoration programme is aimed at ensuring complete property ownership by historically disadvantaged people of South Africa.

Western Cape Human Settlements Minister, Bonginkosi Madikizela will host Minister Mfeketo, Deputy Minister Zou Kota-Fredericks and Human Settlements MECs from different provinces and Executive Mayors from Metropolitan Municipalities.

The Department of Human Settlements is committed to restoring the dignity of ordinary South Africans through the delivery of sustainable human settlements. To date, over 4,6 million houses and subsidies have been delivered across the country benefiting millions of deserving households.
