Minister Madikizela to Welcome Senior Beneficiaries Into Their New Homes

Western Cape Human Settlements Minister Bonginkosi Madikizela will today visit 4 families that have been relocated from Thabo Mbeki Informal Settlement to the  Thembelihle Housing Project in Pelican Park, Cape Town.  The families are all headed by senior citizens, and include special needs beneficiary 79 year old Mrs Madebesa   Jongiwe Mavango

The visit is for Minister to welcome these families to their new homes. Minister Madikizela  intervened after he was alerted to the plight of these families by the leadership of Thabo Mbeki, who informed him that the families were living under appalling conditions in a flood prone area. They  will now enjoy the warmth of their homes and survive the cold of the fast approaching winter season.
