Minister Madikizela to Handover 45 Title Deeds to Beneficiaries of Slangrivier

Today, 18 April 2016, Minister Bonginkosi Madikizela will be handing over 45 title deeds to the residents of Slangrivier community within the Eden District under the Hessequa Municipality. Twelve of the 45 title deeds will be handed over to the elderly.

The title deeds handover is part of the department’s strategic goals of prioritising elderly people receiving houses and inculcate a sense of ownership and responsibility among housing beneficiaries. Through receiving the deeds, beneficiaries are formally empowered as home owners.
