On Friday, 06 February 2015, the Western Cape Minister of Human Settlements, Minister Bonginkosi Madikizela will deliver the closing remarks of a five day Integrated Sustainable Human Settlement Training Course presented by UCT.
The Department of Human Settlements jointly with the Department of Environmental Affairs & Development Planning made this intervention a possibility. The aim of the intervention is to create a platform for officials who are strategic to Human Settlements planning and delivery to actively participate in skills and knowledge development and discussions around the housing delivery environment.
The purpose of the course is as follows:

Venue: UCT (Upper Campus) TS4A in the New Snape Building (B4 in the attached map). From the parking area, cross Ring Rd and walk down Residence Rd, past the RW Pearson and Mathematics Buildings. Turn right up the Jammie steps and turn left into University Avenue South. Walk past the Electrical & Mechanical Engineering and Geological Sciences Buildings, and turn right before the Leslie Social Sciences Building. Keep going up until you reach the Snape Building. There will be signage indicating the course venue, but please note that registration on Monday morning will be in the New Engineering Building.
