Media Alert: Minister Plato to Host Bredasdorp Youth Safety Summit

On Tuesday, 5 March 2013, Dan Plato, Western Cape Minister of Community Safety, will host a youth safety summit in Bredasdorp in partnership with the Cape Agulhas municipality and South African Police Service (SAPS).
 

The day will consist of various information sharing presentations by the relevant safety structures, and active engagement through specific workshops with the community.

This kind of active partnership between civil society and the Department of Community Safety is part of the Western Cape Government’s ‘whole of society’ approach towards improving safety in the province.
