Minister Bredell Address Situation at Eden Council

The rumours and information coming from the Eden council are very disturbing and will have to be addressed by the Council as a matter of urgency. These rumours have are extremely harsh and the credibility of the Council and the municipality are the big losers.
Rumours and allegations regarding inappropriate behaviour by councillors and certain employees of the municipality is not acceptable and must be dealt with.
I would again like to repeat that l will not hesitate to institute action should the these allegations have any foundation, but would however again like to stress that anybody mentioned in these allegations is innocent until proven guilty.
