Media Alert: Minister Grant to Handover Tablet Computers to School Principals

Tomorrow, 15 November, Minister Grant will be personally delivering the first of over 1 500 PC tablets for school principals to Mrs Booi at Phandulwazi HS in Phillipi. He is then proceeding onto two other schools, Oaklands Sec and Greenfield PS.

In March 2012, Minister Grant announced in his budget speech that each school principal in the Western Cape would receive a PC tablet by the end of the school year. The Minister has kept to his commitment with delivery to all schools to commence on Friday.

The tablets are intended to improve the way in which the WCED communicates with and provides support to our principals.

Minister Grant is personally delivering the first three tablets to schools tomorrow.
