Minister Carlisle to Officially Open Walk-In Centre

Robin Carlisle, Minister of Transport and Public Works will be opening the Walk-In Centre at 9 Dorp Street, Cape Town on 7 November 2012.

The Centre and its function illustrates the government’s continued commitment to providing key services to the public, as well as streamlining the processes in which members of the public can access the various opportunities offered by the Western Cape Government.

The Walk-In Centre will be the central point for the administration of tender applications, as well as other traffic law administration functions. Clients will now have a designated area in the building where all their information and application needs, when it comes to tenders, can be effectively and efficiently catered for.

Minister Carlisle will also be revealing the amount and value of contracts awarded in the past financial year (2011/2012), as well as portions awarded to HDIs (Historically Disadvantaged Individuals).
