Another Police Officer has been Shot and Killed

 I have just been informed that another South African Police Service (SAPS) officer has been shot and killed in the Philippi area of the Western Cape. I am outraged that the very people who are there to protect our communities are being attacked and killed.

I would like to send my deepest condolences to the family of the officer, his friends, and the police community at large. These attacks will not go unpunished.

Earlier this week I congratulated General Lamoer and his officers for the swift action that led to several arrests relating to the killing of the SAPS and Metro police officers last week. I have spoken to Western Cape Police Commissioner, General Arno Lamoer, and he has assured me that they are doing everything in their power to apprehend these cold blooded killers.

These brutal attacks must be stopped immediately!
