MEC Sakkie Jenner Saddened by the Death of Stage and Film Icon - Shaun Arnolds

The newly appointed MEC for Cultural Affairs, Sport and Recreation, Sakkie Jenner, today expressed his sadness at the death of legendary stage and TV actor, Shaun Arnolds.

Arnolds who is bet known for his portrayal of Ougat in the SABC series Interrogation Room was tragically killed at the weekend.

'It a sad loss to the entertainment industry, when someone so skilled and who has many years experience in the industry both on stage and on television is suddenly taken away,' says MEC Jenner.

'Arnolds was truly an individual who many of our young people should aspire to be like - someone who followed their dreams, and made a success of it.'

'I would like to express my heartfelt sympathy with the family of the late Shaun Arnolds. The role which Arnolds played in strengthening and building film and stage productions in both SA and abroad will never be forgotten and will live on in the hearts, minds and theatre productions, for years to come,' MEC Jenner added.
