MEC Max Visits Gugulethu Youth Development Council (GYDC)

The MEC for Community Safety, Adv. Lennit Max, will today meet the project leaders of the Gugulethu Youth Development Council (GYDC) who will divulge plans to combat the negative impact of substance abuse and gangsterism on their community.

Minister Max will talk to some of the leaders from the GYDC who are running projects on the theme: "Reclaiming the Soul of Gugulethu". This initiative assist in capacitating the youth of Gugulethu and also add impetus to the work of the local community policing forum (CPF) in successfully tackling crime.
