Media Alert: MEC Grant to Announce the Future of Hospital Schools in the Western Cape

The previous MEC for Education in the Western Cape, MEC Yousuf Gabru, had indicated his intention to close hospital schools in the province and transfer their functions to resource centres/special schools. After much deliberation, the current MEC has made a final decision on the future of hospital schools in the Province.
