MEC Madikizela to Visit Illegally Occupied Houses in George

On Saturday 29 January, Minister for Housing Mr Bonginkosi Madikizela will visit illegal occupied houses in Thembalethu, George.

Since Minister Madikizela visited the area of Thembalethu in George last year (2009), He made a promise to go back to the area and witness for himself the allegations that were made by the residents of the area. The meeting was overwhelmed by the allegation of dodgy housing allocation in the area.

Since Minister took over as the new Minister for Housing, he has been very concern about the way the beneficiaries are allocated houses, particularly outside the Cape Metro.

Minister Madikizela is very serious about fairness and transparency when it comes to allocating housing opportunities.
