Media Alert: Minister Grant to Announce Results of the Grade 6 Assessment Tests

Improving the reading, writing and calculating skills of our learners are a number one priority for this administration.

In order to target individual needs and improve literacy and numeracy performance in the province, the department has set extensive tests for Grade 3 and 6 learners.

Tomorrow, Minister Grant will be announcing the Grade 6 assessments results for 2009, as well as, plans and targets for future improvements in literacy and numeracy across the province.
