Media Alert: MEC Ivan Meyer to Handover Assistive Devices

On Monday, March 15, 2010 the MEC for the Department of Social Development, Dr Ivan Meyer, will be handing over assistive devices to the needy communities of Beaufort West, Oudtshoorn and George.

In 2009 the Taiwanese Government presented the Department of Social Development with a donation of assistive devices (i.e. crutches, wheelchairs, commodes, etc.). As part of the distribution plan, needy individuals in the Beaufort West, Oudtshoorn and George areas have been identified, by the Department of Social Development, to whom these devices will be handed.
