Media Alert: MEC to Release Safely Home Back-to-Basics Results

Tomorrow, (Wednesday 2 June, 2010) Western Cape Community Safety MEC, Lennit Max, will release the results of the Safely Home Back-to-Basics focus on cellular phone and seatbelt offences by provincial and city authorities since the launch of the initiative in March.

The MEC will address the media at a road safety awareness display in the Golden Acre where traffic officials will use the Safely Home Seatbelt Convincer to demonstrate the importance of wearing a seatbelt.
