Metro Emergency Medical Services Responded to Accident at Paper Mill, Parow

Bellville, Cape Town - Metro Emergency Medical Services responded to a call out at 11h45 in Beaconvale, Parow earlier today after a member of the public caught his hands at a paper mill while on duty.

According to the ambulance crew on the scene, both hands of the civilian were amputated after severing them while working with the guillotine. Ambulance crew responded within ten minutes of receiving the call. The man was transported to Vincent Palotti Hospital in Pinelands.
