Minister Simmers to visit Saldanha project and handover title deeds in Citrusdal

On Thursday, 13 April 2023, the Provincial Minister of Infrastructure Tertuis Simmers, will conduct an oversight visit at the Saldanha Primary construction site. This will be followed with a ceremonial title deed handover in Citrusdal, at the Oranjeville Sportsground. 

Minister Simmers will join the Executive Mayor of Cederberg Municipality Dr. Ruben Richards and hand over 152 title deeds. Speaking ahead of his visit to the West Coast region Minister Simmers said; “with the oversight visit to the Saldanha Primary School, we seek to evaluate construction progress. Tomorrow’s outreach seeks to forge a bridge of hope between two generations. A celebration of security of tenure for one generation and the building of a new school for our future generations.”
