28 November 2022

On Tuesday, 29 November 2022, the Western Cape Government (WCG) and the City of Cape Town (CoCT) will jointly launch their respective Tourism Safety Units.

The Provincial Ministers of Police Oversight and Community Safety, Reagen Allen and Finance, Economic Development and Tourism, Mireille Wenger will represent the WCG.

Representing the City’s unit will be the CoCT’s Executive Mayor, Geordin Hill-Lewis, along with the Mayoral Committee members for Safety and Security, Alderman JP Smith and Economic Growth, Alderman James Vos.
