Media alert: World’s Best School Prizes - Announcement of the top school

Tomorrow, T4 Education in partnership with Templeton World Charity Foundation, Accenture and American Express, will be announcing the outcome of the World’s Best School Prize.

As you are aware, one of our schools, Pinelands North Primary School, has been nominated in the Top Three for the category: Overcoming Adversity. They have competed with two other schools in their category, Escola Evandro Ferreira Dos Santos in Brazil and Project Shelter Wakadogo in Uganda, for the honour to be named World Bests School in their category and to receive a $50 000 prize.

Tomorrow, the winners of each of the five categories in the competition will be announced.

Unlike the previous announcements, this one is a bit different with specific requests made from the organizers to have only a handful of the teaching staff and learners in a small room – as it will be a live announcement via satellite link.
