Minister Marais to join Adidas Run For The Oceans campaign against plastic waste

Tomorrow, 29 May 2021, in a bid to end plastic waste, Minister Anroux Marais will join adidas for a 5km walk as part the global sustainability campaign: Run For The Oceans.

For every kilometer tracked in the adidas running app during Run for the Oceans, adidas X Parley will remove the equivalent weight of 10 plastic bottles from coastal areas.

The overall brand ambition is to end plastic waste, not only through massive clean-ups but also through ongoing education such as campaigns of this nature.
