Minister Tertuis Simmers to hand over title deeds in Villiersdorp

15 March 2021

Tomorrow, 16 March 2021, Western Cape Minister of Human Settlements, Tertuis Simmers, will be in attendance at the handover of 212 title deeds to residents in Villiersdorp.

Minister Simmer says: “Being in a position to hand over these title deeds to our residents is truly humbling. There is nothing more empowering than seeing residents become fully-fledged homeowners. I’m excited about this opportunity and I’m also looking forward to visiting 3 of the elderly beneficiaries who will be receiving title deeds.

Title deed handovers remain a priority of the Western Cape Government, as it helps to restore the dignity of our people.”

In adhering to covid regulations, only 32 beneficiaries will be present in the venue, while municipal officials will ensure those residents not present will receive their title deeds.

All media is invited to attend.
