Road Safety Management launching Transport Month

On Thursday, 1 October 2020, Department of Transport and Public Works (DTPW): Road Safety Management kickstarted Transport Month with driver awareness where they handed out pamphlets to the motorists at the roadblock near Somerset Weighbridge.

October is marked as Transport in South Africa.  To observe and advance South Africa’s road safety initiatives is one of the Transport Month’s objectives.

DTPW: Road Safety Management Directorate aims to reduce the amount of people injured and killed on the Western Cape’s roads through road safety awareness and education campaigns and programmes.
